The daily beacon
The Daily Beacon is the University of Tennessee's student-run newspaper. In addition to creating page layouts and special issue covers, I led the paper's redesign. The editorial team wanted to modernize the paper's layout while maintaining its professionalism as a publication serving both the campus and its surrounding community.

I designed special issue covers for national holidays, university events, and themed papers. My work has been recognized by the Tennessee Associated Press, Society of Professional Journalists, Southeast Journalism Conference, and College Media Association.
